Looking for property in HUDA sectors in Gurgaon? HUDA, the Haryana Urban Development Authority, now called HSVP (Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran), is the Haryana government body that planned and developed most of old Gurgaon. Set up under the HUDA Act of 1977 and renamed HSVP in June 2017, it laid out sectors such as Sector 14, Sector 15, Sector 17, Sector 23, Sector 31, Sector 45, Sector 46, Sector 56 and Sector 57. These are among Gurgaon's most established neighbourhoods, with wide roads, parks, markets, schools and hospitals.
HUDA doesn't build apartments for sale. It develops sectors and allots residential plots, commercial sites and institutional sites, and owners build their own houses or builder floors on them. That's why HUDA-sector property is usually bought from individual owners, and why checking HSVP's records and transfer rules is essential.
| Sectors | Area | What you'll find |

Compare prices using our sector-wise property rates in Gurgaon and the best sectors to buy property in Gurgaon.
Most buyers in HUDA sectors choose between a plot (to build their own home), an independent kothi, or a single floor in a builder floor, where an owner or small builder has rebuilt a plot as three or four independent floors. Builder floors give you a HUDA-sector address and a private floor at a lower price than a whole house. Browse builder floors, plots and residential properties and apartments.
JameenWallah's property lawyers verify HSVP records and title, and our home-loan advisors help with financing. Read our RERA guide for homebuyers too: larger builder-floor projects may need RERA registration.
HSVP sells new residential, commercial and institutional plots through e-auctions on its official portal. For example, in January 2026 it auctioned residential plots of 6 and 10 marla in Sectors 23 and 23A, and in July 2026 it offered large commercial sites in Sector 82 and Sector 82A. Each round has its own reserve prices, earnest money and eligibility rules, so always read the official notice before bidding. JameenWallah can help you evaluate a site before you bid.
HUDA's commercial and institutional sectors, such as Sector 29 and Sector 44, have offices, restaurants and corporate buildings close to central Gurgaon. Browse office spaces, other commercial properties and our leasing listings.

HUDA stands for Haryana Urban Development Authority. Since June 2017 it has been called HSVP, the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran.
The Haryana cabinet renamed HUDA as HSVP on 1 June 2017. The new name is the Hindi form of the old one; the authority's role stayed the same.
Many of old Gurgaon's sectors were developed by HUDA, including Sectors 14, 15, 17, 23, 31, 45, 46, 56 and 57, along with commercial and institutional areas such as Sectors 29 and 44. Confirm the status of a specific plot in HSVP's records.
You can buy a new plot through an HSVP e-auction, or buy a plot from its current owner on the resale market. For a resale plot, check the allotment documents, HSVP transfer permission and dues before you pay.
HSVP holds e-auctions several times a year. In 2026, for example, it auctioned residential plots in Sectors 23 and 23A in January and commercial sites in Sectors 82 and 82A in July. Check HSVP's official portal for upcoming rounds.
